Royal Edward’s Armistice Day lunch raises £400 for BLESMA

Wives and friends of Royal Edward Lodge were guests at Avonmouth for an Armistice Day lunch.  As a precursor to the eminently successful raffle, Charity Steward Jason Sutton [right] provided diners with a history of the British Limbless Ex-Servicemen’s Association.  The organisation, founded following WWI, has so far helped over 62,000 wounded or blinded veterans.  That raffle then produced a magnificent £400; the master, George Eland, here handing the cheque to Jason.  The cheque will be winging its way to BLESMA straight away.
