Prince of Wales Lodge – Spicing up their Learning and Development

The Prince of Wales Lodge are very fortunate in that they conduct a Lodge of Instruction (A learning and development session for Freemasons)  almost every Tuesday evening in Stow. They combine an evening of expanding their knowledge of Freemasonry with a libation or two in the bar. This is an excellent opportunity to invite potential candidates to join them and meet the gang in a social surrounding, as well as cementing the fraternal bonds among the members. Providing a relaxed environment allows the members to showcase the wonderful Lodge to those men who aspire to join Freemasonry.

A Lodge of Instruction also present newer members with the opportunity to ask questions that, perhaps, in a more formal surrounding they would not be so inclined to do so. At the latest event there was a lively debate about the Lodge vision, mission and how they, as ambassadors for Freemasonry, should talk about membership to family, friends and colleagues when the opportunity arises.

To spice things up they headed, in numbers, to the local Indian restaurant – The Prince of India- in Stow. It is not lost on Lodge members in the know that The Prince of Wales met with The Prince of India in Stow on the Wold – Wither Directing your Course!!

20 members and 3 potential candidates enjoyed each others company by expressing our Mission:

‘To be a fun Lodge that all men aspire to join!’
