My Hat it has Three Corners

Chelsea Pensioner, Ray Pearson, is mostly seen these days wearing his scarlet tunic, and on ceremonial occasions, his tricorn hat.  At Royal Lodge of Faith and Friendship, he brought along an altogether smaller version of that headgear, made of solid silver and fashioned by his own hands.   The attractive and limited-edition pendant and chain he donated to the lodge to raise money for its Discretionary Fund.  The winning and generous auction bid was made by visiting Entered Apprentice, Matt Chappell, from Gloucestershire Lodge of Agriculture.  Ray resides these days at the Royal Hospital, Chelsea, yet remains an honorary member of Foundation Lodge; visiting Gloucestershire whenever he can.
