More than just a Lodge of Instruction

For around 26 Friday evenings throughout each winter, in an atmosphere which doesn’t preclude having some fun, Stapleton Lodge of Instruction is open to help Master Masons learn the ritual which they perform back in their own lodges.  But it’s more than simply learning ritual at this LoI.  Under the guidance of Preceptor Jonathan Bright [pictured right], and assisted by other dedicated Past Masters, brethren can widen their knowledge of masonry, going on group visits, or learning more from books and curios brought along to the meetings in a ‘show-and-tell’ five-minute spell during ‘any other masonic business’.

Here, to Jon’s amusement, one of the founders of this LoI provides a barely passable impression of a Robert Harrup Grand Officer bulldog on display.
