Provincial Grand Lodge Of Gloucestershire

Vigilantia Lodge

No: 8021

Who are we?

Consecrated on the 3rd April 1965. Meeting at the Freemason’s Hall in Stroud.

What we do

The Lodge was consecrated in 1965 and was originally formed principally (but not exclusively) for the association of members of Police Forces, of the Prison Service, for Probation Officers, and Magistrates Clerks and members of their staff, who were resident in Gloucestershire. However, this guideline has changed in recent years to allow for the admission of those from other vocations and backgrounds, including the military, of which we have several members.

Why join us?

We pride ourselves in the formality and accuracy of the ritual used in our formal meetings. We enjoy relaxed and friendly dining after the meeting where our visitors are made most welcome.
