Consecrated on the 15th April 1944.
Meeting at the Freemasons’ Hall in Stroud.
What we do
Consecrated on the 15th April 1944, the new Lodge took its name St Lawrence from Lawrence, a Deacon of the church in third century Rome. From this St Lawrence derives his role of guardian of the poor and patron of cooks & comedians.
Why join us?
Being a Friday lodge, our dining and relaxation at the end of the lodge business can be somewhat more relaxed than if the members had to turn up for work in the morning. Our festive board mixes formal etiquette with relaxed and welcoming conviviality and often attracts almost as many visitors as St Lawrence members.
