Provincial Grand Lodge Of Gloucestershire

Royal York Lodge

No: 2709

Who are we?

Consecrated on the 6th October 1898. Meeting at the Freemasons’ Hall in Stroud.

What we do

We pride ourselves on being a very friendly and welcoming Lodge, our work is a little different to other Lodges owing to our background of originally meeting at The George Hotel in Nailsworth up to 1967. There were various obstructions in the room in which we met meaning certain ‘ adaptions ‘ had to be made, which we have kept and cherished as ‘Royal York Workings‘!
