Hilltop Lodges Present – The Making of a Mason

Join the Hilltop Lodges* on 8th June 6pm, at the masonic hall in Stow-on-the-Wold for a night of entertainment by the Gloucestershire demonstration team followed by a festive board. Transport yourself back 220 years to watch an initiation re-created by the team originally assembled for the Edward Jenner Celebrations at the Royal Lodge of Faith and Friendship.

In many ways unrecognisable from todays ceremonies and yet somehow familiar. The initiation is set in a Public house around the year 1800 and is recreated in full character, costume and good humour for an evening sure to entertain.

The demonstration team, supported by the Provincial Grand Lodge, is available for events inside and outside of the Province, please direct enquiries to James Cowling jim.a.cowling@googlemail.com The Team are also on the lookout for new talent to enable them to cover more dates so contact James if you wish to find out what’s involved.

So, for a ceremony the likes you have never seen before secure your place with a ticket (£23) available to purchase from Ian Jackson director.ceremonies@theprinceofwaleslodge.com

This is event is open to Freemasons only and masonic dress is required. Full details in the flyer attached

*The Hilltop Lodges comprises, The Prince of Wales Lodge, Chipping Camden Lodge and Sudeley Castle Lodge The three Lodges aim to coordinate their masonic activities and work together in the local community.
