For the second year running members of the Gloucestershire Masonic Widows and Friendship groups attended the annual “Salmon Lunch” held at Stroud. This event is organised by the Provincial Grand Almoner and this year Jonathan Steel with the help of his wife Carrie arranged for Ian Holmes to play the piano during lunch and the post lunch entertainment was provided by Nicola Woodward the internationally acclaimed Flautist. With seventy in attendance a presentation of a bouquet of flowers was made to Mrs Daphne Hattersley who had recently stepped down as the secretary of the Cheltenham branch after an amazing twenty three years in the role.
