Gloucestershire Freemasons Community Action Support Team (CAST) were out in action again on Sunday 24th September 2023, as they have been most weekends over the summer. Rob Hargroves and his team of volunteers provided valuable support to get hundreds of cars neatly parked as the walkers prepared for the mammoth Five Valleys Walk around Stroud’s beautiful five valleys. The annual Five Valleys Walk is a significant fundraising event for Meningitis Now, the leading charity providing research and support to those affected by meningitis. Without support from local organisations like the Freemasons, these large charity fundraisers simply couldn’t go ahead. Anyone wishing to get involved and volunteer at any of the events supported by CAST during the year should make contact with Rob and register their interest.
